Hosted by Gregory Wright, the What Brings You Joy? - Photowalk is an interactive photo walk encouraging you to find joy in your immediate surroundings.

Join us for an afternoon exploring one of Philadelphia’s Historical locations, Penn’s Landing. You’ll have a designated time to take photos that capture an aspect of the world that brings you happiness. Judges will determine a winner based on which photo has the most impactful story attached to the image(s). Prizes include a Fujifilm Instax camera, other event-themed gifts, and of course each participant’s captured memories. (Estimated value: $120)

Inspired by the values of the Connection Collective, this photo walk brings people together for an afternoon of visual sharing, and joyful communion.

Gregory Wright is a Philadelphia-based visual artist who captures moments of joy in their purest elements. Through visual arts, he aims to inspire, enlighten and share stories that represent the nuanced lifestyles of the African Diaspora. These stories led Gregory to visual arts but more importantly, they helped him understand the history of his ancestors and his current family members. He hopes his imagery does the same for the next generation.
